A Stunning Squamish Wedding

Updated: Aug 5, 2022

When my dear friend Jeremy reached out asking for us to shoot his and Nikki’s wedding set for this summer, we were beyond excited to share and document their day with them. Then COVID-19 changed the year’s landscape, it was looking like this lovely couple would potentially have to postpone. But love carries on and they were able to tie the knot in August amongst friends and family in a stunning backyard Squamish venue.

The day was perfect for them, a clear and beautiful August afternoon with sunshine and a gentle breeze. They were married under a handmade arch of vines intertwined with white roses with a backdrop of the Tantalus mountains. This was followed by a reception with live music, delicious craft beer from A-Frame brewing, some of Nikki & Jeremy's favourite sushi and Pizza from local legendary Squamish chefs and BC’s best donuts for dessert. Their wedding completely captured every essence of who they are and was in every way, beautiful.

Portraits:

For Nikki & Jeremy we had 2 locations set out for their portrait sessions. One an old growth dense forest, and the other along the Squamish River.

For our forest shoot we were able to incorporate a Bright Red Vintage Car that held sentimental value to the family friend’s who hosted the wedding and made for stunning colours and contrast in our forest shoot.

We LOVE Squamish Weddings and photographing them.
